Jagran correspondent, Haldwani. The vicious criminal sent a threat to bomb Nainital District Court by mail using the IP (Internet Protocol) address of an American company. Now, to trace the linked mail from IP address, Nainital Police has sent a letter to an American company asking for server data. After which the location of the mail through which the bomb threat was received could be traced.
According to the police, due to lack of IP address servers in India, it becomes very difficult to find cyber criminals. After which he sends letters to foreign companies to trace their location. In that also, only if the foreign company wants, they can get the data of the server being used by the user.
Due to all these difficulties, the police are not able to easily trace the location of cyber criminals. In fact, not only in Uttarakhand but in 125 districts of other states including Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, district courts have received bomb threats. On which cyber cell and STF teams have been deployed at all places to catch the culprit.
Here, after threatening to blow up the Nainital District Court with a bomb, an FIR has been registered against the accused at Tallital police station. After that the police started the investigation process. During the investigation itself, he received a threat to bomb the court for the second and third time.
SP City Manoj Katyal said that the IP address of the mail through which the threat to bomb the court was received is from abroad. In which it will be seen on which ID its e-mail server is running. Through which the sender of the mail can be found. However, the process of tracing the location of an IP address is quite lengthy.
