Jagran correspondent, Meerut. On February 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Meerut and will inaugurate the remaining part of Namo Bharat Train and Meerut Metro. The police have almost completed preparations for the security of the Prime Minister. Security briefing will be conducted at the rally venue and rapid stations on Saturday. The Prime Minister will be under three layer security from the rapid stations to the rally venue. SPG (Special Security Group) will keep them under siege from the helipad to the station and rally venue. The SPG team has camped in the district. SPG DG Alok Sharma will also arrive on Saturday. The area has also been declared a no fly zone.
The security of the Prime Minister will be in three layers. SPG commandos will be in the first layer, while the convoy will include bullet proof cars, armored vehicles, ambulances and jammer vehicles. About 100 soldiers will be deployed in this convoy. 150 and 100 administrative officers of SP rank will also be involved in security. Teams of Intelligence, IB and ATS have also been deployed. Overall, about 8000 soldiers have been deployed for security arrangements.
Police forces from different districts
Police forces have been called from 12 districts including Bulandshahr, Hapur, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Aligarh, Agra for security at the Prime Minister's rally. About 45 IAS-IPS officers, 105 PCS and PPS officers, 1500 inspectors, 3500 inspectors and head constables and constables have also been kept.

Truck operations completely stopped
SP Traffic Raghavendra Mishra held a meeting with officials of UP Motor Transport Association and Transport Association regarding the upcoming rally of the Prime Minister. In this, representatives of both the organizations assured that they will completely stop the operation of trucks on 21st and 22nd February. Pinky Chinyoti, President of Meerut Zone of UP Motor Transport Association, said that in view of the arrival of the Prime Minister, a trial will be held on Delhi Road on February 21, hence the operation of trucks will remain closed till 4 pm on that day.

Apart from this, it has also been decided to stop the operation of trucks till 4 pm on 22nd, which has been supported by the traders. Transport Association also supported the bandh: Transport Association President Gaurav Sharma also supported the decision to stop the operation of trucks on 21st and 22nd.
In the meeting, he demanded from SP Traffic to install red light at TP Nagar intersection, where there is often problem of jam. He assured to install lights. Sardar Kheta Singh, Rohit Kapoor, Shivam Vinayak, Ankur Prajapati and Ashok Sharma etc. were present in the meeting.
