Jagran correspondent, Prayagraj. An uncontrolled Scorpio vehicle became fatal for two people in Mauaima, Gangapar. Near Maganpur village of the area, late on Thursday night, an uncontrolled Scorpio hit five people riding on three bikes. Two died while three were seriously injured. All have been admitted to Swarooprani Nehru Hospital and private hospitals, where their condition remains critical. After the collision, the Scorpio went into a pit on the roadside.
Were going by bike to attend the wedding procession
A wedding procession from Jamui village under Soraon police station had gone to Sahabajpur Mauaima on Thursday night. To participate in this, 22 year old Neeraj son of Bhagirathi, 22 year old Pawan Kumar son of Sajendra, 21 year old Sachin son of Ramsaran Pal and 16 year old Deepu son of Digvijay, residents of Jamui village, left on two bikes. He had just reached near Maganpur village on the highway when the Scorpio coming from the front at high speed hit first Neeraj and then Sachin's bike.

Both the bikes were blown away. All four scattered here and there on the road, fell far away and started writhing in pain. Meanwhile, some people of Jamui village, who were going to attend the wedding procession, reached there and saw all four in pain and informed the Mauaima police. Within a short time, the Mauaima police along with a large number of people attending the wedding ceremony reached the spot. Everyone was taken to the hospital in Mauaima.
Also hit a doctor near the guest house
It is said that the same Scorpio vehicle rider attacked Dr. at Vrindavan Guest House in Sahabajpur, Mauaima. Vrinda ran away after hitting Prasad. From there the driver ran away with the vehicle at high speed and hit all four on the way. Dr. Vunda was also seen battling for life in the hospital. Seeing the critical condition of all five, the doctors referred them to Swarooprani Nehru Hospital. However, the ambulance driver took everyone to the Community Health Center, Soraon. Where the doctors declared Neeraj dead. Whereas Sachin died during treatment at Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital.
