Jagran correspondent, Jalandhar. Punjabi singer Noora Sisters' father Gulshan Veer is suffering from kidney failure. About 6 days ago, after his health deteriorated, he was admitted to the emergency department of the Kidney Hospital located at Cool Road. After treatment, he was discharged from the hospital on Thursday. According to the hospital management, his condition is currently stable, but further regular check-up and treatment will be required. According to the information, Gulshan Veer complained of high fever, extreme weakness and less urination. When his condition became serious, his family members immediately took him to the hospital. Hospital Chairman Dr. R.S. Under the leadership of Chahal, the team of Dr. Damanveer Singh Chahal and Dr. Rahul started his treatment.Dr. Chahal said that preliminary investigation revealed kidney failure. The patient is already diabetic and was found to have Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) stage-5.

Had severe infection in left kidney
The investigation also revealed that there was a serious infection in his left kidney. Considering the situation, he was kept in ICU. Out of the total six days of treatment, he remained in ICU for three days. During the treatment, a stent was inserted in his left kidney and dialysis was done thrice. According to doctors, reaching the hospital on time helped control the situation. His condition improved after treatment, due to which he was discharged on Thursday.

Gulshan Veer will keep coming for investigation
The hospital administration said that in future he will be called for check-up from time to time and if needed, the dialysis process can be continued. The family has expressed gratitude to the team of doctors.
It is noteworthy that Noora Sisters are famous personalities of Punjabi music world. There was an atmosphere of concern among the fans as soon as the news of his father's ill health was received. At present, doctors have described his condition as stable and have advised regular care.
