Jagran correspondent, Auraiya. The process of admission for the January 2026 session of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), run in Tilak Mahavidyalaya, is going to gain further momentum. The last date for admission has been extended to 28 February.
Principal of Tilak College, Prof. Dr. Ravi Kumar said that the curriculum of IGNOU not only provides education but it is also very important and helpful in the preparation of competitive examinations.
Coordinating Deputy Director Dr. Anamika Sinha informed that 50 percent relaxation in fees will be given to those students of Scheduled Caste and Tribe, whose annual family income is less than Rs 2.50 lakh.
Along with traditional subjects like Hindi, English, Sociology, Political Science, History, various honors courses and employment related diploma courses are also active at the study centre.
