With the aim of making the police administration in the district more effective, accountable and transparent, after a long time, large scale transfer and posting of police station chiefs and police officers has been done. Lakhisarai Superintendent of Police Awadhesh Dixit has issued a press release in this regard. Under this, new police station chiefs have been deployed in 12 police stations, while there has been a large-scale reshuffle of officials in various branches and police stations.
According to sources, Police Inspector Ashok Kumar has been transferred from Suryagadha zone and made Police Inspector cum Station Head of Lakhisarai police station. Whereas Amit Kumar was removed from Kavaiya police station and appointed as the police station chief of the traffic police station. SI Randhir Kumar has been transferred from Manikpur police station and made in-charge of Kavaiya police station. In the same sequence, SI Ujjwal Kumar was made the station head of Kajra police station from Pipariya to Chanan, SI Ranjit Kumar from Lakhisarai to Manikpur, SI Sanjita Kumari from Amhara to Bannubagicha, and SI Ashish Kumar from Bannubagicha.
SI Rajvardhan Kumar was posted from Kajra police station to SC/ST police station, while SI Rashmirathi was posted from Chanan to Amhara, SI Anamika Kumari from Kawaiya to Mahila police station and SI Saurabh Suman from Halsi to Pipariya police station. At the same time, SI Chunnu Kumar was transferred from the Sub-Divisional Police Officer's office and made the Station Head of Ramgarh Chowk police station.
Police Inspector Rajeev Kumar was sent to Suryagadha zone from Lakhisarai, in-charge of Law Branch, while Sunil Kumar Sahni was made Additional Police Station Officer at Cyber Police Station from Lakhisarai police station. Rajesh Kumar was transferred from Lakhisarai Zone-02 to in-charge Law Branch, Amit Kumar was transferred from Cyber Police Station to Lakhisarai Zone-02 and Mantu Kumar, Nikki Kumari and Jhoti Ram were transferred from Ramgarh Chowk, Mahila Police Station and Scheduled Caste/Tribe Police Station respectively to Police Centre, Lakhisarai.
Apart from this, Chandana Kumari was made the post of Lakhisarai police station from Kavaiya, Vidyanand Kumar was made the additional police station head of Tetarhat police station and Ramesh Paswan was made the Suryagarha police station. Danish Iqbal was sent from Lakhisarai to Tetarhat, Dinesh Yadav from Mahila Police Station to Traffic and Priyanka Kumari from Mahila Police Station to Lakhisarai. Beauty Kumari was transferred from Lakhisarai to Mahila Police Station and Potan Ram Chaudhary was transferred from Traffic Police Station to Mahila Police Station.
The SP said that this comprehensive reshuffle has been done keeping in mind the administrative needs and efficiency. Its main objective is to improve law and order in the district, ensure accountability in police services and provide smooth security and facilities to the citizens. He expressed expectation from all the officials that they will work with full devotion and efficiency with their new responsibilities.
After this major reshuffle, new energy and activity will be seen in the police stations and branches of the district. The Superintendent of Police said that through the changes, crime control, prompt action and safety of the general public will be made more effective.
