Jagran correspondent, Faridabad. Plot holders in Sector 80 of Greater Faridabad have got a big relief from the High Court in the matter of plotting done by Haryana Urban Development Authority. The High Court has banned any action against the plot holders.
The next hearing on this case will be on March 18. Meanwhile, people of Badauli-Prahladpur village are protesting in Sector 80 against the plot allotment. The villagers want the Haryana Urban Development Authority to cancel the allotment, return the money to the allottees and return their acquired land.
68 people have bought plots...
In Sector 80, 68 people had purchased plots through e-auction. He has not been given possession of his plot for two years. In this matter, the biggest problem is being faced by those people who have given lakhs of rupees to HSVP for the plot and they are not able to build their house. The officials should have resolved the land dispute first and then started the plotting. Now officials are failing to get possession.
A court case has been going on on this land for many years, yet the authority has made and sold the plots. Madan Sharma, who bought the plot, said that the court case is going on since 2009. Although the authority had acquired the land, due to some problems the farmers had to go to court.
The plots in this sector range from 160 square yards to 250 square yards. 68 plots have been distributed on the land on which the court case is going on. The price of a plot of 160 square yards is more than Rs 1.5 crore. Now they want a plot here. Survey Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDO) Rajpal of the authority said that the matter is in the cognizance of senior officials. Action will be taken on the basis of order.
