On Saturday morning, farmer Chandrapal Singh, a resident of village Mukari in the forest of village Mukari of Naugawan Sadat police station area, had gone to the farm at around seven o'clock. He saw a young man lying there covered in a blanket. When he removed the blanket, he saw that he had been shot and was soaked in blood. One bullet hit him in his chest and the other in his waist. After some time, a crowd of people gathered at the spot. Police had also come. Namkeen packets, pakodas and liquor bottles were also found lying at a short distance from the place where the young man was lying.
Was identified as Hariom
The police admitted the injured to the district hospital. He was identified as Hariom Singh, resident of village Salamatpur police station Didauli. Hariom Singh is survived by his wife Shishkaur and four daughters Babita, Manju, Ritika and Gunjan. Two daughters are married. Hariom's parents also died many years ago. He was the only one in the family. After first aid on Saturday itself, Hariom was referred to Meerut Medical College for better treatment.
The wife had filed a complaint against him
In this case, on the complaint of wife Shishkaur, an FIR was lodged against the former head of village Salamatpur, Tinku, and his brother Pinku on the charges of aggravated assault. The wife said that her husband Hariom had sold the tractor a few days ago. Whose money was towards Tinku. He was not paying the money. That's why he believed in rivalry. Told that Hariom had left home on the evening of 13th February to collect Kanwad. Even Zoya was taken away by his younger son-in-law. After that he went to Haridwar by bus.
Hariom died during treatment on Saturday night.
