Samvad Sutra, Kosikalan. In Nagla Parsadi, located in Bathin Gate area of the city, a married woman, upset over not sending her to her maternal house, committed suicide by hanging herself. Seeing the dead body of his wife, the husband also lost patience and started attempting suicide by hanging himself. Relatives and neighbors saved him. The police have taken the husband into custody. The police is waiting for the application from the maternal side.
Devendra Kumar, resident of Nagla Parsadi under Kosikalan police station area, works in furniture. On Friday evening, Devendra had a dispute with his 30-year-old wife Samudri Devi over going to her maternal home. After this Devendra slept near his children in the other room. At night the sea goddess hanged herself in her room.
When his wife was not seen at home at eight o'clock on Friday morning, Devendra reached her room. When he saw his wife's dead body hanging, he lost his temper. He also started committing suicide by hanging himself. Then relatives and neighbors came and took him down. Samudra Devi, a resident of Mant, was married to Devendra 14 years ago. He has three sons.
For many days his wife was insisting on going to her maternal home. The wife committed suicide due to husband's refusal. Inspector in-charge Rajkamal Singh says that the husband has been taken into custody. Action will be taken on the basis of application from the maternal side.
