The death of software engineer Yuvraj by drowning in the pond in Noida has drawn the attention of the entire country towards such accidents, but this is not a new incident for the district. Due to the absence of boundary walls of drains here, these drains are also taking people's lives. In last five years, 38 people have died due to falling into drains. On Monday again a young man died after falling into the Odeon drain of Brahmapuri. No identity of the deceased could be established. Police believe that the young man fell into the drain under the influence of alcohol.
The dead body of a young man was seen lying in the Adian drain near Brahmapuri police station at four o'clock on Monday evening. As soon as they saw the dead body inside the drain, a crowd of people gathered nearby. Police also reached the police station immediately. With the help of nearby people, the police took out the body.
No such item was found from his clothes by which the young man could be identified. At present, the police have taken the body into their custody and kept it in the mortuary. So that the deceased can be identified. Till now the police believe that perhaps the young man fell into the drain due to being under the influence of alcohol. However, the police team is watching the surrounding CCTV footage.
Efforts are also being made to identify the youth. Till late evening no one has reached the police station who could identify the deceased. Let us tell you that many people have already died in different incidents due to alcohol intoxication in Odeon drain. Even after that, no attention is being paid to the broken boundary of the drain.
The dead body of the youth was found inside the Adian drain in the evening. In the first investigation it seems that the young man had fallen inside the drain in an intoxicated state. The exact cause of death will be confirmed only in the post-mortem report. At present the youth is being traced by looking at the nearby CCTV. Looking at the dead body it seems that it is two days old.
