Aprilia RS 457 launched in India with new colors.
Auto Desk, New Delhi. Aprilia recently introduced three new color options for its mid-capacity sports bike Aprilia RS 457 during India Bike Week 2025. This time the company's focus has been on presenting the bike with a new and attractive look instead of mechanical changes. Due to the new colors, RS 457 looks more premium and sporty than before.
New color options of RS 457
The three new colors that Aprilia has unveiled for the RS 457 are Coral Blue Snake, Arsenic Yellow and Moto GP Replica (Racing Replica). The Coral Blue Snake color seems to be largely inspired by the shade found in the more expensive RS 660. Whereas Arsenic Yellow comes with more subtle but bold graphics. The Moto GP Replica color was previously showcased globally at EICMA 2025 and now it has been shown for the Indian market as well. The special thing is that contrasting red alloy wheels have been provided in all three color options, which further enhances the sporty appeal of the bike.
The most premium version of Moto GP Replica
The Moto GP Replica color scheme gives the RS 457 a distinct identity. It gets graphics inspired by Aprilia RS-GP. This variant is considered to be the most premium because it comes with quickshifter as standard, along with adjustable brake and clutch levers. These features not only enhance performance but also make everyday riding more comfortable.
Arsenic Yellow and Snake Blue style
Arsenic Yellow is for those riders who want a solid and sporty look, not too flashy. The dark finish along with the yellow graphics and red rims make it look balanced yet attractive. Snake Blue color is more bold and eye-catching. It has red graphics with blue body panels. This shade is believed to be inspired by the Blue Marlin color of the RS 660 and it also gets red-finished rims.
no change in engine
Apart from these new colours, the RS 457 remains the same bike mechanically. It still has a 457cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, which generates 47.6hp power and 43.5Nm torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, which has a slip and assist clutch. The weight of the bike also remains the same at 175 kg (with 13 liter fuel tank) and there has been no change in the chassis.
What is the update regarding launch and price?
According to Aprilia, these new color options can be launched in India by January 2026. However, it has not been made clear yet whether these colors will replace the existing color options or will be sold along with them. The company has not yet given any information regarding the price. Currently the ex-showroom price of RS 457 is ₹ 4.54 lakh.
If you already like the Aprilia RS 457, the new colors make it even more attractive. Especially the Moto GP Replica is a great option for those riders who want a little extra premium feel along with style. Overall, Aprilia has strengthened the appeal of the RS 457 by focusing only on looks and variety without making any mechanical changes.
