Various products were kept at the stall of Dasna Jail in the District Court premises. A painting of Radha Krishna was kept on this stall. When District Judge Vinod Singh Rawat, Judge Sanjay Veer Singh, committee in-charge Judge Neeraj Gautam etc. reached the stall, a painting attracted their attention. This was a painting of Radha-Krishna. The love of Radha-Krishna was depicted in this painting. This painting was made by Gippy Dhaka, a prisoner in Dasna jail. Whoever saw this painting never got tired of praising it.
District judge bought the painting
The District Judge offered to buy this painting. After this the jailer gave this painting to the district judge. Apart from this, paintings made by other prisoners also attracted people's attention. Deputy Jail Dr. Brajesh Pandey told that the painting of Radha Krishna made by the prisoners has been purchased by the District Judge. The price has not been disclosed yet.
Ram temple attracted attention
A wooden model of Ram temple was kept on the jail stall. A prisoner had built the Ram temple out of wood. There was a crowd of people to see this temple. Carvings were done in it just like Ram temple. People also liked Krishna's swing very much. A prisoner had made a wooden hammer and plate for giving orders in the court. Court scales were also made. Justice Department officials greatly appreciated this art of the prisoners.
Prisoners are learning skills in jail
Shoes, paintings, various types of home decor items, idols of God, pots, pitchers, lamps etc. are made by Dasna jail prisoners. These are sold with the tag of Made in Gel. Formal and casual shoes are available for just Rs 300. The painting is available for six thousand rupees. Prisoners make sculptures from cloth. Tailoring training is also given in the jail premises. Prisoners can learn skills.
