Samvad Sutra, Jagran Pratapgarh. There was chaos in Dhanaupur village of Fatanpur on Sunday evening when three people of the same family working in the fields were suddenly attacked by bees. Within no time the swarm of bees also targeted other people present nearby.
A total of six people were injured in the incident, out of which the condition of three is said to be critical. Arvind Dubey, son Aadya Dubey, resident of Dhanaupur village, along with his mother Shyama Devi and 12-year-old son Arjun Dubey had gone to work in their farm located at some distance from home.
Meanwhile, there was sudden movement in the beehive on the tree on the edge of the field and within no time the swarm attacked the three. All three got seriously injured due to continuous stings of bees and there was screams on the spot.
Three other people of the village, who ran to save their relatives, also came under the attack of bees. The villagers somehow chased away the bees by smoking and waving clothes. The injured were taken to Raniganj Trauma Center for immediate treatment.
