Jagran News Network, New Delhi. Indian Overseas Congress chief Sam Pitroda, who is often in the news for his statements, has once again given a controversial statement. Pitroda said- 'The country with a population of 1.50 billion does not even have its own mobile operating system (OS). This is a matter of shame.
Not only this, he said that Indian talents are meant to serve others. On the other hand, BJP responded strongly and said that the only mission of Congress is to humiliate India by telling lies. Also rejecting Pitroda's claims, he enumerated a long list of operating systems developed in India.
India did not make its own technology products
In an interview given to a YouTube channel, Pitroda said that the huge army of youth that India has created is not working for India but for multinational companies. India has not made its own global level technology products.
He raised the question why India could not create a company like Microsoft or its own internet media platform and mobile OS?
Make fun of the country by telling lies
On the other hand, on Pitroda's statement, BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala wrote on Twitter - 'After Congress's topless protest, now Lashkar-e-Congress chief Sam Pitroda has come forward. Uncle Sam is once again making fun of the country by telling lies while following the agenda of demeaning India. They say that it is a shame for India that they did not even develop OS for mobile.
The reality is that operating systems like Base Linux, Maya OS, PrimeOS, BharOS, Indus OS and NextQuantumOS have been developed in India itself. BJP spokesperson said that Congress hates India and its only aim is to humiliate the country.
