Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Pathania met Sonia Gandhi in Parliament.
State Bureau, Shimla. Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania paid a courtesy call on former UPA chairperson, Rajya Sabha MP and senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi at the Parliament House during his stay in Delhi.
This meeting took place in a cordial atmosphere. In which there was a detailed discussion on the functioning of the Assembly as well as social and administrative issues related to the state.
He informed Sonia Gandhi about the parliamentary traditions of Himachal, the smooth functioning of the House and recent activities. During the talks, the need to further strengthen democratic institutions and effective dialogue on issues related to public interest was also discussed.
During his visit to Delhi, Kuldeep Pathania also paid a courtesy call on former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and Rajya Sabha MP Digvijay Singh. It is noteworthy that Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Pathania is in Delhi for the last two days. During this, he took the initiative to put the issues related to Himachal on the national platform by interacting with various senior leaders.
