Basant Panchami on 23 January, best time from 7.20 am to 1.45 pm
Jagran correspondent, Buxar. Goddess Saraswati is the presiding deity of knowledge and knowledge has been said to be the chief wealth among all wealth, whose appearance day is on Friday 23rd January. Sages have considered the fifth day of Magh Shuklapaksha as the day of appearance of Goddess Saraswati, who is blessed with all the virtues.
On this day, special worship of Mother Bharati will be done by all the people. Ritualist Acharya Amarendra Kumar Shastri alias Saheb Pandit told that Panchami Tithi is arriving at 1:18 midnight on Thursday, which will remain till 12:08 on Friday night.
He said that the puja can be done at any time as per convenience, but the best time would be from 7:20 am to 1:45 pm on Friday morning after sunrise.
Here, the process of delivering the idol from the artisans' place to the pandal by the organizers has started from Wednesday. Many were seen purchasing desired clothes and crowns and getting them worn by artisans. On the occasion, Shivkumar Prajapati and Mukteshwar Prajapati told that this time the booking of idols has been good.
The sculptors said that the work of making the statue had started after Kartik Chhath Puja. The work of construction of pandals for idol worship has started in full swing in many localities of the city. Teenagers are looking more excited about the puja festival.
