Noida Airport likely to get aero drum license soon.
Jagran correspondent, Greater Noida. An important meeting was held on Tuesday, a day after Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced the inauguration of Noida International Airport next month. Officials from various departments participated in the meeting held under the leadership of Anand Swarup, Additional Secretary of the Union Home Ministry.
Officials examined the security measures at Noida International Airport. Inspected the premises. This meeting is being considered important for the safety clearance received by Noida International Airport from the Civil Aviation Security Bureau. Only after this the Directorate General of Civil Aviation will issue aero drum license to the airport.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who is on Singapore tour, had said on Monday that Noida International Airport will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi next month. Even before this, there was a possibility of inauguration of the airport in January and February, but the inauguration could not take place due to lack of safety clearance from the Civil Aviation Safety Bureau regarding security measures at the airport.
On the second day of the Chief Minister's announcement of the inauguration in March, Additional Secretary of the Home Ministry, Director General Civil Aviation Security Bureau, Director of Civil Aviation Department Ishan Pratap Singh, Noida International Airport Ltd. An important meeting of police and other central department officials including Nodal Officer Shailendra Bhatia was held at Noida Airport. In this, the security measures of the airport including the objections of Civil Aviation Security Bureau regarding the security of the airport and their disposal were discussed point by point.
Noida International Airport Ltd. Nodal Officer Shailendra Bhatia said that the officials including the Additional Secretary closely inspected the airport's terminal building, air traffic control tower, runway, security boundary wall of the airport etc. He also inspected the security equipment installed at the airport. The meeting and inspection program lasted for about two and a half hours.
After this meeting, it is expected that the Civil Aviation Security Bureau may soon give safety clearance for the airport. Only after this the Civil Aviation Safety Bureau will issue the Aero Drum License. Airlines and cargo services from the airport will start only after the issuance of this license.
