State Bureau, Patna. The Mines and Geology Department has adopted a strict approach to achieve the revenue target for the financial year 2025-26 on time. A departmental review meeting was organized on Tuesday on the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister Khan and Geology Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha.
The meeting was presided over by Director Manesh Kumar Meena. In this, Mineral Development Officers and other concerned officers of all the districts of the state participated through video conferencing.
The current status of departmental schemes and revenue collection was reviewed in detail in the meeting. The Director clearly said that all the pending tender and auction processes should be completed by March 15 under any circumstances, so that there is no hindrance in achieving the set target.
During the review, the status of income from sand, stone and brick, revenue received from the works department, amount recovered from auction letters and penalty was discussed. Emphasis was laid on making a concrete action plan to reduce the gap between the daily revenue collection target and actual realization.
The Director especially gave instructions to speed up the collection of revenue from the Works Department. Big districts were asked to run special drives to recover pending dues. Along with this, the auction of sand ghats, status of operated ghats and re-auction of extradited ghats were also reviewed in the meeting.
State Bureau, Patna. The Health Department has extended the last date for contribution of AYUSH doctors selected in 2025 to March 2, 2026. The State Health Committee has issued an order in this regard on Tuesday.
The committee has said that this is the last chance. For those AYUSH doctors who have not yet contributed due to various reasons, orders have been issued for them. It may be noted that many candidates had requested to extend the date of contribution saying that they were studying.
