Bulldozers ran on the illegal colony developed in about 20 bighas in Duhai and Saitli.
Jagran correspondent, Ghaziabad. The authority launched a demolition drive against illegal construction and construction of roads and boundary walls in illegal colonies. The illegal colony being developed in about 20 bighas in Duhai and Saitli of Enforcement Zone 2 area was demolished by using bulldozers.
On Tuesday, the enforcement team of the authority sent a notice to the developer of the colony which was being developed illegally without the approved map, but neither the notice was responded to nor the construction work was stopped. Due to this, the site office, temporary construction and other illegal constructions of the colony were demolished. Police remained present along with the authority team during the action.
Authority Vice President Nand Kishore Kalal said that the campaign against illegal construction and illegal colonies will continue in the authority area. Appealing to the general public, he said that before purchasing any plot or property, they should check the documents related to its validity and approval. So that one does not have to face financial loss.
