Jagran correspondent, Faridabad. Haryana Board of School Education (BSEH) 12th examinations started from Wednesday. The first exam of English will start at 12:30 noon. Class 10th exams are starting from 26th February. The administration, education department and police across the state have completed extensive preparations for the cheating-free examination.
Section 163 has been imposed within 200 meters of the examination centres, photostat shops will remain closed and policemen will reach the centers two hours before the commencement of the examination and do 'scanning'. There will be 2.95 lakh candidates of class 10th and 2.70 lakh candidates of class 12th in the examination.
Strict arrangements to stop copying
Sonipat: 83 examination centres, eight sensitive
83 examination centers have been set up in Sonipat district. Of these, eight centers are in sensitive category. Gohana block has maximum 26 centres. District Education Officer Naveen Gulia said that all the center superintendents have been handed over 'bags' containing examination material and an oath has been taken to conduct the examination without cheating.
Narnaul: 52 centres, more than 16 thousand students
About 16 thousand students will appear for the examination at 52 examination centers in Narnaul district. A control room has been set up here and eight flying squads have been deployed.
Nuh: 65 centres, seven sensitive, eight hyper-sensitive
65 examination centers have been set up at 55 places in Nuh district. The Deputy Commissioner has instructed the officials to maintain strict monitoring during the examination. The Superintendent of Police has ordered to deploy adequate police force at all the centres.
Rewari: 54 centres, Section 163 implemented
54 examination centers have been set up in Rewari district. Photostat shops will remain closed within 200 meters radius of the examination centres. A warning has been given of action under Section 223 of the Indian Justice Code 2023 for violation of orders.
Board's objective: cheating-free examination
According to the Education Department, this time the main goal of the board examination is to ensure transparency and cheating-free conduct. Cooperation is also being taken from Panchayat representatives so that there is no crowd and chaos in rural areas. This time, board examinations will be held on the test of discipline and transparency amidst administrative strictness and technical monitoring across the state.
