Jagran correspondent, Hardoi. Teachers who have been teaching in schools for years are now opposing the compulsion of TET exam.
As part of the ongoing movement under the banner of Teachers Federation of India, for the third day on Wednesday, teachers conducted studies in schools by tying black bands on their hands and registered their protest.
They say that when they have been educating children for a long time, the decision to take the exam from them again is completely unjust.
The agitating teachers say, "We have spent ages teaching children from schools to homes. Now we are being asked to take exams. This unfair system will not be accepted under any circumstances." They allege that this decision ignores the self-respect and experience of teachers.
On Wednesday also, on the call of the Federation, teachers will wear black bands and do their teaching work, so that the studies of the students are not affected and protests are also registered.
After this, a warning has been given to surround the District Basic Education Officer office on Thursday. Teachers say that until the order related to TET is withdrawn, their agitation will continue in a phased manner.
