Indecency With Bhojpuri Singer In Gorakhpur Railway Officers Club, Case Registered Against Anchor

Jagran correspondent, Gorakhpur. A case of indecency and obscene remarks against a Bhojpuri singer has come to light during a program at the Railway Officers Club. On the complaint of the singer, resident of Chhapra, Cantt police station has registered a case against Mukesh Rai, resident of Ara district of Anchor Bihar.

The Bhojpuri singer, resident of Gaur Basant village of Chhapra (Bihar), had attended a banquet program organized at Gorakhpur Railway Officers Club on 21 February. Mukesh Rai, resident of Arrah district, was anchoring on the stage.

The singer alleges that during this time Mukesh started using obscene words, due to which she got hurt. The singer met SP City Abhinav Tyagi on Tuesday and gave a written complaint.

He told that after the incident he is continuously receiving death threats. He demanded action against the accused. SP City Abhinav Tyagi said that on the basis of the singer's complaint, a case has been registered in the Cantt police station against the accused Mukesh Rai under the sections of making indecent remarks, using obscene words and threatening. Further action will be taken based on evidence.

The video of the incident is being circulated on the internet media. In which it can be seen that the singer gets angry after the anchor's comment and takes off her sandals and moves towards him. During this time the anchors are seen moving away from there.

The people present at the spot intervened and handled the situation and sent the singer to the hotel. Dainik Jagran does not confirm this video. The singer says that she was misbehaved during the programme, due to which she got hurt and reacted.
