Day temperatures have started rising in North India, while there is a possibility of rain, thunder and even hail in some areas. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert in several states for the next few days.
The maximum temperature in Delhi-NCR today is expected to reach 30-31°C, while the minimum temperature will be around 18°C. The weather will be clear, light winds (15-25 km/hr) may blow. The temperature may increase further by 2-3 degrees in the next 48 hours.
However, there is no chance of rain. Air quality remains poor, with AQI recorded between 200-300 in many areas. There will be a feeling of slight coolness in the morning and evening, but the heat may bother you in the afternoon.

According to IMD, today and tomorrow (February 25-26) there may be light to moderate rain with thunderstorms and strong winds (30-40 km/hr) over East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Odisha, Telangana, West Bengal, Jharkhand and some northeastern states (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim). There is also a possibility of hailstorm at some places.
