Cricketer Rinku Singh's father admitted to Yatharth hospital.
Jagran correspondent, Greater Noida. Indian cricketer Rinku Singh's father Khanchendra Singh has been admitted to Yatharth Hospital in Sector Omega One, Greater Noida. According to hospital sources, his condition remains stable. He has been admitted to the hospital due to fourth stage liver cancer. His father is admitted in ICU. According to information received from sources, he has been kept on ventilator. According to information received from sources, Rinku Singh's father Khanchendra Singh was brought to the hospital in critical condition. He was suffering from cancer for the last one year, now due to the cancer reaching advanced level, the liver has also become vulnerable to the disease. As soon as Rinku received the information, he reached the hospital at around 10 in the morning and went to the hospital to inquire about his father's well being. The relatives became emotional after seeing their son in the hospital. Despite the busy international cricket schedule, Rinku spent many hours with his father and got information about the treatment from the doctors.
This immediate step was taken in view of the seriousness of his illness. According to people close to the family, Rinku seemed worried about his father's health the whole time. Rinku Singh left around 4 pm to join the Indian team again, as India will next face Zimbabwe on February 26 in the Super-Eight stage of the T20 World Cup. A close relative of Rinku told that when the Maidan star came to play the role of his son, the scene became emotional.
Khanchendra Singh has been admitted to the fourth stage of liver cancer. His condition was critical and required immediate treatment. The team of doctors of Yathar Hospital is monitoring him. Hospital sources have declared his condition stable. This is a difficult time for the family.
