Jagran correspondent, Malhani (Jaunpur). Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that be it Rohingya or Bangladeshi, those who are living in the country illegally should be thrown out. The government is working on a policy of zero tolerance on law and order.
Pathak was talking to journalists on Monday after paying tribute to his father Savdhu Yadav at the ancestral residence of Minister of State Girish Chandra Yadav in Samaspur Paniriya village. He advocated SIR wholeheartedly. Said that just as Yoga is necessary for purity of mind, similarly fair elections and SIR are necessary for the purity of democracy.
When asked about the cough syrup case, he said that the law is doing its work. Responding to Akhilesh Yadav's statement 'One District-One Mafia', Pathak said in a harsh tone that look at newspaper cuttings and old video clips. Corruption, loot, murder, dacoity and rape were all at their peak during SP rule.
Today the same people preach on law and order. On comparison, the public will themselves understand whether there is rule of law in the Yogi government or not. SP people have no right to speak on law and order. On removal of outside and fake names from the voter list in Bihar, he said that 65 lakh outside and fake names were removed, yet no one protested.
The election results themselves reveal the position of the opposition. The Deputy CM met the bereaved family members including the minister's mother Rajpatti Devi and shared their grief. Cabinet Minister Satish Chandra Sharma, Minister Dayashankar Singh and other public representatives also reached there to pay tribute.
