In the light of the instructions of the state government, under 'Everyone's respect, life is easy', the officials have to listen to the complaints of the people easily two days a week, Monday and Friday. In this sequence, it was started from Monday. At some places, officers were easily available, but in two blocks their chairs remained vacant. Wherever officials were found, people expressed their plight. There was assurance of resolution, but even after a long wait, the hearing could not take place and the complainants returned disappointed.
It was told that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is to arrive on January 23. Preparations are going on in the district for this. The camp was organized in Abdulnagar alias Madhopur Panchayat. DM and other officials were present in the camp in the morning. After returning from there, the officials met the people and heard their problems. People returned disappointed due to absence of officials in Kudhani and Bandra areas.
DM Subrata Kumar Sen said that it is mandatory for all officers to be present in the office every Monday and Friday. During this, he will meet people and listen to their problems. Will leave office only in special circumstances. He said that the date for removal of encroachment in Kudhani was already fixed. Police forces had also arrived. Therefore the Circle Officer had to go there. Apart from this, officers in other offices heard the complaints and also acted upon them. People did not reach the district headquarters due to SDO East being on leave, whereas people reached other departments including DCLR, Additional Collector, Land Acquisition Office and applied for various problems.

Meenapur: As soon as the zonal office opened on Monday, a crowd of people gathered over a land related dispute.
