Bhabhua airport becomes garbage dump
Samvad Sutra, Bhagwanpur. The airport located in Bhabua Nagar is in a dilapidated condition. Garbage from many nearby wards is being thrown into the airport premises, due to which foul smell has spread in the entire area. The situation is such that even the morning walkers are forced to walk amid the foul smell.
Local youth told that only a few days are left for the New Year 2026. Every year, on the first day of the New Year, the women, small children and youth of the city have a picnic and celebrate in the same airport premises, but this time it is difficult to welcome the New Year due to the dirt and foul smell.

Advocate Gulab Singh, Advocate Arun Tiwari, retired cashier of South Bihar Gramin Bank Haridwar Prasad Gupta, Laxman Prasad, Dr. Teg Bahadur Singh, Pramod Kumar Singh and retired professional Durgesh Srivastava and others, who did the morning walk, said that they come here every morning for health benefits, but due to dirt they face serious problems.
People say that due to this there is a risk of spread of infectious diseases. Local people demanded that if regular cleaning of the airport premises is done by the district administration, then the morning walkers will get relief and the existence of the airport will also be saved.

People also reminded that in the year 2015, the Prime Minister of the country had addressed a public meeting at this airport during the assembly elections, but after that till date this airport has remained a victim of neglect. The youth say that the garbage of the surrounding wards and even the dead bodies of animals are being thrown here, due to which the airport complex has become completely contaminated.
