Jagran correspondent, Noida. Amidst the uproar over Yadav ji's Love Story film, a heated argument took place between the farmers and the police under the banner of Bharatiya Kisan Parishad at the electricity sub-station in Sector-16 in Noida on Thursday afternoon.

The farmers created a ruckus and demonstrated in the sub-centre premises for about one and a half hours. Angry farmers tried to open the gate several times and march towards the DM office in Sector-27, but the administrative officials along with a large number of police forces laid siege to the farmers, stopping them from moving forward.

At the same time, after the high voltage uproar and demonstration, the National President of the Kisan Parishad submitted a memorandum to the City Magistrate in the name of the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister.

Wrong message going to society through film

National President Sukhbir Khalifa said that Yadav ji's love story film is sending a wrong message to the society. Due to this, the honor of elders, women, sisters, daughters and youth of Yadav community has been hurt. Through this film, work is being done to break the mutual fabric by creating disunity in the society.

The allegation is that through the film our harmony has been damaged and the basic spirit of the Constitution has been damaged. Apart from this, the working class in the submergence area is facing a lot of problems due to lack of electricity supply.

Farmers' anger has increased

For the past several days, hundreds of farmers and residents have been staging a peaceful protest at the Sector-16 electricity sub-station to express their demands to the administration, but the administration or electricity department officials are not ready to listen to their problems even once. Farmers' anger has increased on both the burning issues. Everyone had announced to march to the DM office in Sector-27 to convey their voice to the government. But the administration along with the police had already laid siege to the power substation.

Meanwhile, farmers expressed their anger by tearing posters of Yadav ji's Love Story movie. He gave the message that any movie which created caste and religious conflict. It is very important to oppose it. On the other hand, farmers started coming out of the gate. The police administration stopped them.

At the same time, the police had strengthened barricading and security arrangements around the DM office also. There was a heated argument between the farmers and other officers including ADCP Manisha Singh, ACP I Praveen Kumar Singh and ACP II Swatantra Kumar Singh. City Magistrate Durgesh Singh also reached the spot. He pacified the farmers, listened to their problems and assured to convey all their demands to the government.
