He clarified that 52nd and 56th battalions of SSB are deployed with full alertness on the 110 km long border of Araria district, and surveillance will continue through BOP and checkposts.

More than 20 panchayats of Narpatganj, Sikti, Kursakanta and Forbesganj are adjacent to the Nepal border. Amit Shah said that smuggling and infiltration activities under the guise of encroachment and misuse of farms will not be tolerated. He also said that there will be no compromise against illegal encroachers.

Strict action will be taken against the illegal construction, cattle slaughter and farming that has been going on for years in Gwarpuchhadi village and Bela area of ​​Sonapur Panchayat. Action will be taken under strict law against those who create obstacles for the security personnel on the border.

Many houses, shops and slums have already been removed from No Man's Land and government land in Sikti and Leti areas. Amit Shah said that encroachment will be completely ended in the next weeks also and every activity on the border will be strictly monitored.
