Digital Desk, Indore. Due to the spread of gas in Raoji Bazaar area on Thursday night, people started having burning sensation in their eyes and difficulty in breathing. The incident happened around 10 pm. There was a burning sensation in the eyes of people passing by and drivers.
During this time, people standing and walking in the area started having difficulty in breathing and started having severe cough. Meanwhile, someone called and informed the police. It was found that a scrap dealer named Shahzad was cutting an old gas cylinder in a shop in the area.
The gas released from this caused problems to the people. The police reached the spot and reduced the effect of the gas by spraying foam and water on the gas cylinder. Meanwhile, the scrap dealer is being interrogated as to where he took the cylinder from and which gas it was.
It is suspected that there may be ammonia gas in the cylinder. Which is used in many industries including water purification. The gas accumulated at the bottom of the old cylinder came out during cutting and caused problems to the people. Due to the cold air, it did not dissolve quickly in the atmosphere and caused problems. Some people also reached the hospital.
