Bharat Gaurav Special Pilgrimage Train. (Awakening)
Samvad Sutra, Saraigarh (Supaul). The Bharat Gaurav Special Pilgrimage Train, run by the Railways with the aim of providing an accessible and convenient visit to the major religious places of the country to the common people, especially the elderly pilgrims, returned to Saharsa after completing a long journey on Thursday, 18 December.
A total of about 700 pilgrims from different districts were on board this train, who visited many famous pilgrimage sites of the country. According to the information, the Bharat Gaurav Teerth Yatra train started its journey from Saharsa Railway Station on December 5. During this period, train passengers were taken to many major religious places including South India.
The main stop of the pilgrimage was Trivandrum, where the passengers got cultural and spiritual experience along with religious places. When the train reached Saraigarh Railway Junction on Thursday, satisfaction and happiness were clearly visible on the faces of the passengers. The pilgrims boarding the train told that they had left for return from Trivandrum on 13th December and are now returning to Saharsa after completing the journey on 18th December.
Passengers said that excellent arrangements for food, stay, security, cleanliness and guidance were made by the railway administration during the entire journey.
Most of the passengers participating in this journey were elderly, who wholeheartedly appreciated this initiative of the Railway Department. The passengers said that Bharat Gaurav Teerth Yatra train was no less than a boon for them.
It is difficult for people from rural areas with limited resources to undertake such a journey individually, but this scheme of the Railways gave them the opportunity to visit many major pilgrimage sites simultaneously. The pilgrims also said that the railway personnel and support staff deployed in the train were always ready and cooperative during the entire journey. Any problem was resolved immediately, due to which the passengers did not face any inconvenience.
The passengers demanded that Bharat Gaurav Teerth Yatra train should be operated regularly in future also, so that more and more devotees from both rural and urban areas can visit the major pilgrimage sites of the country.
