Dialogue partner, Tosham. On Sunday, a speeding Thar vehicle wreaked havoc near village Dewawas on Isharwal-Siwani road. Two youths riding a bike and walking on foot died after being hit by the Thar, while two others were seriously injured. Police have registered a case against the absconding driver.
Accident happened while returning from the farm: Sunil, resident of village Dewaas, told that he was returning home after completing the farm work along with his brothers Anil, Sanjay, Ishwar Singh and Nardeep. Sunil, Sanjay and Ishwar were walking on foot, while Anil and Nardeep were riding a bike.
As soon as they reached near Dewas bus stand, the driver of the speeding Thar coming from behind, while driving carelessly, first hit Sanjay and Ishwar who were walking on foot. After this, the uncontrolled vehicle also hit the bike.
Died before reaching the hospital
With the help of villagers, the four injured were immediately taken to Hisar. Ishwar Singh died on the way, while Nardeep died on reaching the hospital. Seriously injured Anil and Sanjay are undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Hisar.
As soon as the information was received, Tosham police reached the spot. On Sunil's complaint, the police have registered a case against the Thar driver under various sections. The post-mortem of the dead bodies was conducted at Hisar Civil Hospital. Police is busy searching for the vehicle and driver.
