Jagran correspondent, Badaun. The miscreants who robbed a bullion trader in Khitaura of Ughaiti turned out to be quite vicious. The police have examined his horoscope. One of the criminals had just been released from jail eight days ago and the other had robbed and killed a teenager in an e-rickshaw. Two cases each are registered against the three miscreants.
They first planned to raid the bullion trader's shop and then loot village Parasia in Bisauli Kotwali area. To get information about the entire matter, SSP Dr. Brijesh Kumar Singh reached the incident site with the police force in the afternoon. Took information about the incident after talking to the traders and assured to investigate the entire matter and take action against the negligent police personnel.
After this, the SSP suspended Ughaiti police station incharge Awadhesh Kumar, outpost incharge Naraini Ashwani Kumar and beat head constable Rajesh Kumar with immediate effect considering them careless. In this matter, investigation has also been started by DIG Bareilly Ajay Sahni.
The crowd was angry...if the police had not come, the miscreants would have lost their lives.
The villagers were so angry with the criminals caught in Ughaiti police station area that they wanted to kill them. With difficulty the police freed him from the clutches of the villagers. When police officers later reached the spot, they also faced the anger of the villagers. During this, the villagers even raised slogans against the police.
Villagers say that due to the incidents happening every day, there is negligence of the police and the people here are unsafe. It was fortunate that the villagers came to know about the miscreants at the right time. When he was looting inside the shop. During that time the villagers were also planning to surround them. The miscreants had tried to scare
Due to this, a crowd of people gathered at the spot. Although the miscreants tried hard to scare them, the villagers did not budge and were not afraid of their guns. They were determined to catch the miscreants by any means and thus the miscreants were caught. Then they were beaten severely but there was a lot of anger among the villagers regarding this incident.
When the police station reached the spot, it became difficult to take the miscreants into custody. On one side the villagers and on the other side the police were pulling the miscreants. The villagers had also surrounded the police from all sides and did not want to let them be taken away at any cost. The crowd wanted to kill him on the spot but his luck was good, due to which the police somehow convinced the people and took him into custody.
Villagers raised slogans and expressed anger
Despite this, the anger of the villagers did not subside when later SP Dehat Dr. Hridesh Katheria and CO reached the spot, even then the villagers expressed their anger and even raised slogans. Villagers said that people are troubled by the incidents happening every day and the people here are feeling safe. Due to this, questions are being raised on the action of the police station. However, the police officers pacified him by explaining and have given instructions to take strict action in the matter.
The businessman said - the number of miscreants was four, even five lakhs were taken away
Regarding this incident, businessman Lalaram says that four miscreants had raided his shop. Among them, three miscreants were caught from the spot, but the fourth miscreant escaped. Apart from gold and silver jewellery, four miscreants had also looted Rs 5 lakh from his shop. The fourth criminal who has absconded has five lakh rupees with him.
The miscreants came to rob after doing Reiki
The three arrested criminals did not suddenly plan the robbery but had pre-planning. All three miscreants are residents of different areas. They gathered at one place in the afternoon and then attacked the bullion trader's shop. Before this he had gone for recce of the shop. He knew that the businessman's shop remained open in the evening, due to which he could easily commit loot.
