Police raided the Iranian camp.
Digital Desk, Bhopal. Bhopal's new Police Commissioner Sanjay Kumar has shown a strict attitude as soon as he took charge. To tighten the noose on crime in the city, extensive combing patrolling and raids were conducted in Irani Dera and other areas. About 400 policemen, including police station in-charges from the entire Bhopal district, were involved in this action which started around 2 am on the intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday.
Crackdown on organized criminals
During this 6-hour combing patrol, 408 miscreants including 283 permanent warrants and 125 arrest warrants were arrested. During this major police action, many accused involved in vehicle theft were arrested. Apart from this, other suspects involved in various criminal activities have also been detained.
During this combing patrol, the police arrested 30 miscreants from the Irani camp. The police has already arrested Irani gang leader Raju Irani. The members of the Irani gang are accused of being involved in many crimes including forgery, chain snatching, vehicle theft.

Coordinated operations, multiple teams active simultaneously
According to the information, the action was pre-planned and different teams raided the area simultaneously. The police searched suspected hideouts and also investigated old criminals.
Strict message regarding crime control
Police sources say that this campaign was launched with the aim of giving a clear message to the criminals operating in the city. Such special campaigns will continue in the coming days also.
Bhopal Police says that continuous intensive action will be taken to maintain law and order in the city and control organized crime.
