Big Decision In Kanpur Kushagra Murder Case: Tuition Teacher, Her Lover And Partner Held Guilty

In the Kushagra murder case, the court of Additional District Judge Subhash Singh convicted the three accused, tuition teacher Rachita Vats, her lover Prabhat Shukla and partner Shiva Gupta. The sentencing point will be heard on January 22. All three were brought from jail in police custody and presented in the court. After being convicted, mother Sonia Kanodia said that my son's murderers should be given death sentence.

Kushagra Kanodia, a high school student of Jaipuria School, was kidnapped and murdered on 30 October 2023 while going to coaching. In the murder case, Kushagra's tuition teacher Rachita Vats, her lover Prabhat Shukla and partner Shiva Gupta were arrested and sent to jail. ADGC Bhaskar Mishra said that on the behest of the accused, Kushagra's body was recovered from the room outside Prabhat Shukla's house. The final arguments in this case were completed in the court on Tuesday last week. The hearing in this case started on Tuesday. The court found all three accused guilty. ADGC said that 14 witnesses were presented by the prosecution. Which includes three witnesses from the house. At the point of punishment there will be a demand for hanging. The court declared all three guilty and said that this decision will become an example. Law students should study it.
