Law correspondent, Jagran, Prayagraj. Allahabad High Court has said that maintaining physical relations for a long time without any resistance cannot be considered a crime. Even if we assume that there was a false promise of marriage in the beginning, the continuation of the relationship for nine years makes the victim's argument that her consent was under illusion unbelievable.
