State Bureau, Jagran, Dehradun: The government can provide great relief to the employees working in government departments in the state through Upnal. Under this, the employees posted through Upanal can be given equal post and equal salary by the year 2018. For this, details of all the subnal personnel deployed till this period are being sought from all the departments. It is believed that more than 15 thousand sewerage workers can benefit from this. On Monday, a meeting of the Cabinet Sub-Committee constituted under the chairmanship of Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal was held in the Veer Chandra Singh Garhwal Auditorium of the Secretariat regarding giving equal post and equal pay to the employees.
In the meeting, there was a discussion regarding giving equal pay to the subnal employees at equal posts. If sources are to be believed, it was decided in the meeting that there will be no time limit for minimum service.
Till the year 2018, all the personnel who have been posted in various departments through Upnal will be taken under the same post with equal pay. For this, it was decided to collect the actual number of deployed personnel from all the departments through Upnal.
Instructions are being given to the departments to give detailed information about the subnal personnel posted there. It should also be told as to which category of posts they are working. It is noteworthy that at present more than 20 thousand personnel are providing their services in various departments in the state through Upanal. These are working on posts ranging from Group B to D.
