Jagran correspondent, Patna. Bihar Board has issued a unique ID code to every student in the Intermediate Annual Examination, 2026. Through this, all information related to the candidates will be immediately available. Bihar School Examination Committee Chairman Anand Kishore said that 50 percent questions in each subject will be objective. Students will be given 100 percent additional questions as options.
There will be 50 objective questions in the subject for 100 marks, in which the candidate will have to solve any 50 out of 100 questions. Similarly, in objective questions of two and five marks, the candidate will have to solve twice as many questions. The candidate will be given additional time of 15 minutes in the examination room to read and understand the question paper, answer sheet, OMR answer sheet etc.
On the basis of request, dictation writer will be provided to the disabled candidates who are unable to write on their own. Disabled candidates can also bring their own dictation. Such candidates will be given additional time of 20 minutes per hour in the prescribed duration of the examination.
Inspectors and officials will not enter with mobile phones
The officials conducting the inspection at the examination centers will sign the inspection register with their name, designation, date of inspection, arrival and departure as well as their intention. Except the Center Superintendent, no candidate, invigilator or officer or personnel will carry a mobile phone in the examination hall. The candidate will be matched with the photo of the admit card and attendance sheet. In case of doubt, the invigilators will also examine the candidates during the examination.

84 centers have been created for intermediate examination in Patna district. In this, 73 thousand 963 students will appear in the examination. District Magistrate Dr. Thiagarajan SM said that 80 static magistrates, 17 patrol magistrates and 10 zonal magistrates cum flying squad officers have been deputed in Patna Sadar sub-division to conduct malpractice-free examinations. Photostat shops around the centers will remain closed during the examination.
15 patrol and zonal cum flying squad magistrates and 15 static magistrates will remain safe in the district control room. Bihar Examination Conducting Act, 1981 is in force. If anyone violates this, action will be taken as per rules. 40 centers have been set up in Patna Sadar sub-division, 12 each in Patna City and Danapur sub-division, nine in Barh sub-division, seven in Masaurhi and four in Paliganj. Inspectors have been deputed through NIC on the basis of randomization.
Assistance will also be provided from the District Control Room
The District Magistrate said that for the successful conduct of the examination, District Control Room, Patna (0612-2219810/2219234) and Police Control Room, Patna (mobile number 9470001389) will remain functional. Apart from this, the sub-division level control room will remain functional in all the sub-divisions also.
The prohibitory order has been issued under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Defense Code, 2023. It will be effectively implemented within a radius of 200 meters in rural areas and 100 meters in urban areas.
