Delhi Police arrested three bike stuntmen.
Jagran correspondent, East Delhi. New Osmanpur police station has arrested three bike-riding stuntmen who were flouting traffic rules on the roads of the capital. These stuntmen were trying to show that the law does not matter to them by performing stunts in front of the law enforcers on the streets.
They have been identified as Tushar Jat, Tanishk Mavi and Pushpendra, residents of Khajuri. These three bikes have also been seized by the police. The accused named Tushar Jat was also arrested by the police on 17 February. Within a few minutes he got bail from the police station. The accused had not stopped doing stunts with his friends, he was continuously posting videos on Instagram.
Dainik Jagran had raised the question on February 18 that even the videos of traffic rule violations uploaded by stuntmen could not be deleted. This time, along with the arrest, the police also got the videos of the accused violating traffic rules deleted from Instagram.
Police said that New Usmanpur police station had received a complaint of violation of traffic rules. It was told that they make videos of violation of rules and upload them on Instagram. The police registered a case of violation of traffic rules. All three accused were arrested from Khajuri. The social media cell of the district was deployed on this matter.
The team found out on which Instagram IDs the stunt videos were being uploaded. Three were identified. There were many videos in which stuntmen were seen performing stunts in front of policemen. Along with this, they were putting the lives of other drivers on the roads at Signature Bridge and other places in danger. The accused told the police that they used to make videos and upload them to increase followers on Instagram.
Stunts continued even after arrest
On February 17, the police arrested Tushar on charges of stunting in violation of road traffic rules. After getting bail from the police station, he did not improve and continued stunting on the streets. Questions were being raised on the police as to whether the stuntmen have any fear of the police. They are doing stunts on the roads without number plates and helmets.
