Jagran correspondent, Patna. The Inter annual examination conducted by Bihar School Examination Board (Bihar Board) is starting from February 2. This examination will continue till 13th February. Whereas the matriculation examination will be conducted from 17th to February.
The examination committee has said that the candidates will have to reach the examination center half an hour before the scheduled time. If the candidates who reach the examination center after the scheduled time enter the examination center forcibly or illegally, then strict punitive action will be taken against them. This rule will be applicable in both Inter and Matriculation examinations.
It will be mandatory for all the candidates appearing in the Inter and Matriculation Examination 2026 to enter the examination center at least one hour before the commencement of the examination in both the shifts. The main gate of the examination hall will be closed half an hour before the commencement of the examination. After this no candidate will be allowed entry.
The committee has said that if any candidate, after arriving late from the scheduled time, tries to enter the examination center by crossing the boundary or by forcing himself on the gate, he will be considered guilty of criminal trespass. In such cases, the candidate concerned will be expelled from the examination for two years and an FIR will be registered against him.
Action will also be taken against the Central Superintendent
The examination committee has said that suspension and legal action will also be taken against the center superintendent and other responsible personnel who forcibly enter the candidates into the examination center or allow the candidates to sit in the examination.
The committee has instructed all the districts that security arrangements should be strictly implemented at the examination centers and violation of the rules should not be tolerated under any circumstances. The examination committee has appealed to the candidates and parents to take special care of the time and complete all the formalities by reaching the examination center on time, so that any kind of inconvenience can be avoided.
Inter examination will be held at 1762 and Matriculation examination centers at 1699 examination centres.
Matriculation theory examination will be held from 17th to 25th February. 15 lakh 12 thousand 963 candidates will appear in the matriculation annual examination. For this, 1,699 examination centers have been created. 13 lakh 17 thousand 846 candidates will appear in the inter annual examination. For this, 1,762 examination centers have been created. Inter examination will be conducted from 2nd to 13th February.
