Administrative reshuffle in four government medical colleges of Bihar

State Bureau, Patna. With the aim of further strengthening the administrative system in the major government medical colleges of the state, the Health Department on Tuesday assigned new responsibilities to four medical colleges. In this sequence, Dr. Narendra Pratap Singh, professor of psychiatry department of Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH), has been given the additional charge of the principal of the college.

Similarly, Dr. Kumari Vibha, Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics Department at Shri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH), Muzaffarpur, has been given the additional charge of Principal. According to departmental orders, they are expected to conduct academic and administrative work smoothly.

Responsibility of Superintendent in Muzaffarpur Medical College

The Health Department has also made administrative changes in Muzaffarpur Medical College. Here Dr. Mahesh Prasad has been given the additional charge of Superintendent. The department believes that this decision will strengthen the hospital management and provide better health services to the patients.

Administration changed in Gaya Medical College also

Apart from this, Dr. Lata Shukla Dwivedi, professor at Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College, Gaya, has been given the additional charge of Principal of the college. The Health Department has entrusted him with academic activities as well as administrative responsibilities.

Focus on improving education and health services

According to the Health Department, the main objective of these temporary charges is to maintain uninterrupted operation of medical education and health services. This will not only not affect the studies of the students, but the patients coming for treatment in hospitals will also get better facilities.
