State Bureau, Patna. The Building Construction Department has summoned answers from three engineers in connection with the glitch in the mic during the Governor's address in the joint session of the Legislature.

During the review meeting on Thursday, Building Construction Secretary Kumar Ravi took this irregularity seriously and sought a detailed report in this regard from the Chief Engineer (Patna). He has also sought clarification from the concerned Executive Engineer, Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer in the matter.

Kumar Ravi said in the meeting that necessary instructions are given to the Chief Engineer (Patna) and Chief Engineer (Electricity) to ensure that such disruption does not arise in future.

He said that coordination is being done with the Legislative Assembly Secretariat for the smooth functioning of the audio-video and mic system in the Bihar Legislative Assembly.

Allocate residences to MLAs assembly wise: Secretary

On the other hand, Bihar Assembly and Legislative Council members will soon get housing facilities. On Thursday, Building Construction Secretary Kumar Ravi reviewed the housing scheme for MLAs. During this, he instructed that assembly wise buildings should be allotted to the MLAs. So that they do not face any problem. It was informed in the meeting that the residence for the MLAs is almost ready. Finishing work is going on in some houses, which will be completed soon.

The Secretary directed that the residences should be allotted according to the Assembly constituency so that the newly elected members do not face any problem in accommodation. The constituency number and name of the assembly constituency will be written on the residence.
