National Executive President Nitin Naveen
Raman Shukla, Patna. The appointment of Nitin Naveen as National Working President in BJP is not being considered as just the rise of an individual, rather it is being seen as a prelude to the comprehensive organizational restructuring of the party. After Makar Sankranti, the speculation about reshuffle in the BJP organization as well as in power is increasing, the possibility of many leaders emerging as new faces has become strong. Giving the charge of road construction department of BJP quota to Dilip Jaiswal is a far-reaching message for the backward classes. According to the strategists of the organization, the stature of two leaders from Magadha along with Digha MLA Sanjeev Chaurasia from the most backward community from Patna district may rise.
Sanjeev Chaurasia, who comes from Vaishya community, is counted among the big leaders of Bihar BJP. Sanjeev Chaurasia is the son of former Governor Ganga Prasad, the founder of Bihar BJP. The organization has played an important role in various positions along with the State General Secretary.
At the same time, in Magadh region, two leaders of Chandravanshi community, Prem Kumar, have been given the post of Assembly Speaker, Pramod Kumar has been given the post of Cooperative and Environment, Climate Change and Forest Department, Ramkripal Yadav has been given the post of Agriculture, now the party pressure from the upper caste community has increased.
The quota of upper caste minister from North Bihar is vacant
If we talk about North Bihar in BJP, the party has given the responsibility of ministerial post to backward class Rama Nishad, Arun Shankar Prasad and Narayan Prasad. In such a situation, now the post of minister of Sarvan quota is vacant.
In this, the party can give a chance to former ministers Nitish Mishra and Jivesh Kumar in cabinet expansion. Similarly, discussions are on to nominate Rajesh Verma, who has been a dedicated worker towards the organization for 25 years and has held important positions in various positions in the party, in place of Nitin Naveen. Let it be known that both are from one community (Kayastha).
Naveen may go to Rajya Sabha in April
There is discussion in BJP that after assuming the post of new minister, he will also resign from the legislature in April 2026. Five Rajya Sabha seats from Bihar are falling vacant in April. In this, the party will send one post to the new Upper House.
The seats falling vacant are RJD's Prem Chand Gupta and AD Singh. Both the seats will come under BJP quota. Whereas the terms of two Rajya Sabha members of JDU are also completing.
Among them are Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh Narayan Singh and Ramnath Thakur. The fifth seat belongs to National President of Rashtriya Lok Morcha Upendra Kushwaha, which will be vacant. The tenure of the five members will end on April 9, 2026.
Eye on four seats of Legislative Council
Many NDA leaders have their eyes set on the four vacant seats of the Legislative Council. This includes the seats vacant due to the resignation of Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary, Mangal Pandey, Shri Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha and Radha Charan Seth. There are two BJP and two JDU quota seats in it.
