E-KYC of ration cards will be done by setting up camps till 30
State Bureau, Patna. Those ration card holders of the state who have not yet done e-KYC of their ration card, should go to their sub-division and block and get e-KYC of their ration card done by 30th December. The Food and Consumer Protection Department is organizing Aadhaar seeding (e-KYC) by organizing a special camp for all ration card holders till 30th December. This is important to ensure your eligibility for ration.
Those ration card holders of the state who are residing outside the state for livelihood or other reasons, do not need to return, because the facility to do e-KYC for ration card holders is now available in the entire country. At present, they can get e-KYC done at their nearest fair price shop or public distribution system shop at their place of residence.
The Central Government has directed to share the suspected Ration Card Management System data and verify it. On this, the Food and Consumer Protection Department has asked all the sub-divisional officers to immediately resolve the suspicious ration card management system data available in their respective areas by getting them physically verified. For this, a special camp has been organized till 30th December.
