Jagran correspondent, Patna. Bihar ka Mausam: Due to snowfall in the mountains, there is a possibility of increase in cold in the state again. According to Meteorological Center Patna, there is a possibility of increase in cold with a drop of two to four degrees in the maximum temperature at many places during the next 24 hours. Light to moderate fog is likely to prevail during the two days.
There is a possibility of light rain with thunder in some parts of nine districts of the state namely East and West Champaran, Siwan, Saran, Muzaffarpur, Sheohar, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga and Madhubani. During this period the wind speed is likely to be 30-40 km per hour.
Chance of partly cloudy sky
Patna and surrounding areas will remain partly cloudy with cold effect in the morning and evening. On Wednesday, the lowest minimum temperature was recorded in Bhagalpur (Sabour) at 7.4 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature in Patna was 14.4 degrees Celsius. The lowest visibility was recorded at 100 meters Gayaji.
Except Sheikhpura, Munger, Bhagalpur and Katihar, an increase was recorded in the minimum temperature in the rest of the districts including Patna. The highest maximum temperature was recorded in Kishanganj with Patna's maximum temperature being 22.1 degree Celsius and 28.7 degree Celsius respectively.
Drop in maximum temperature of 15 districts
Due to change in weather, a decline was recorded in the maximum temperature of 15 districts including Patna. On Wednesday, light rainfall along with strong wind was recorded in Valmiki Nagar, Bagaha, Buxar.
Valmiki Nagar in West Champaran recorded 1.6 mm rainfall. Patna and surrounding areas remained partly cloudy with mild cold effect in the morning and evening.
