Jagran correspondent, Greater Noida. A woman resident of Bisarkh Kotwali area has accused two people of threatening her by calling her on her mobile phone from a Pakistani number.
The victim had earlier filed a case against the accused under other sections including rape, which is pending in the court. In this case, the accused are accused of threatening to kill the witness and the victim.
The victim, resident of Shahberi area, has accused Harun Khan alias Naunu, resident of Sarai Nazar Ali, Ghaziabad and two others including an unknown person of threatening her.
Police investigation revealed that in July 2023, the victim had filed a case against Haroon Khan, Monu Khan, Sonu Khan, Raju Khan.
Allegation of making friends by pretending to be a Hindu
It was alleged that gym operator Harun made friends by pretending to be a Hindu and telling his name as Naunu. After this, he took the victim to his friend's flat and raped her on the pretext of her birthday on 24 November 2021.
Later, he continued exploiting the victim by threatening to publish her photo. The accused had pressurized the victim's daughter to marry either Sonu Khan or Monu Khan.
The police had registered a case against the accused Haroon and others under various sections including kidnapping, rape, religious conversion and arrested them and sent them to jail. It is also alleged that after coming out of jail on September 1, 2023, the accused along with his uncle's son entered the victim's house and threatened to kill her.
The witness is a resident of Ghaziabad
In this case, on the complaint of the victim, the police had registered a case against four including the accused in October 2023. The said matters are pending in the court. Among these, a young man resident of Ghaziabad is a witness on behalf of the victim.
Due to this, the victim called the witness from a Pakistani number and requested for action, threatening her life and property. Incharge Inspector Krishna Gopal Sharma said that a case has been registered against the accused and investigation is being done.
