Jagran correspondent, Patna. The effect of snowfall in the hilly areas of India is also being seen in Bihar. The weather remains dry with partly cloudy sky in Patna and surrounding areas due to the westerly wind.
According to Meteorological Center Patna, on the occasion of Republic Day, the weather will remain dry with partly cloudy sky in most parts including the capital. The minimum temperature is expected to drop by two to four degrees in 48 hours.
Due to the westerly, there will be light rain effect in the morning and evening. There is a possibility of light rainfall in 24 districts of northern and south western parts of the state on January 28. During this time, there is a possibility of wind blowing at the speed of 30-40 km per hour along with lightning.
The minimum temperature of Patna was recorded at 15.5 degrees Celsius on Sunday. Patna's minimum temperature on Sunday was the highest in 15 years. The state's lowest minimum temperature of 9.6 degrees Celsius was recorded at Sabour in Bhagalpur.
Except Forbesganj and Valmiki Nagar, an increase in the minimum temperature was recorded in the rest of the districts including Patna. The maximum temperature of Patna was 24.9 degrees Celsius and Kaimur recorded the highest temperature of 27.1 degrees Celsius.
Due to partly cloudy sky in the state, the maximum temperature of 21 cities including Patna recorded a drop. The lowest visibility was recorded in Purnia at eight hundred meters.
