Jagran correspondent, Bijnor. City Kotwali police arrested two accused of robbery in an encounter on Tuesday night. One miscreant got injured after being shot in the leg. He was admitted to the hospital. Stolen bike, stolen mobile and pistol have been recovered from the accused.

On Wednesday he was produced in the court, from where he was sent to jail. Both of them first stole a bike. After that the mobile phone was looted from the girl from the stolen bike.

On Tuesday night, on the information of an informer, the city Kotwali police tried to stop the bike-riding miscreants on Chakkar Road at 2 o'clock on Tuesday night. During this, miscreants riding a bike opened fire on the police. The police surrounded them and retaliated.

In retaliatory firing, one miscreant was injured by a bullet in his leg. The police laid siege and caught the injured criminal and his companion. The injured criminal has been admitted to the Medical College Hospital. City Kotwal Dharmendra Solanki told that the arrested criminals Akash son of Jagdish resident of Mohalla Raghavpuram Chakkar intersection and Manthan son of Devanand resident of Gandhi Market Sugar Mill are in front of the city police station. Akash has been shot.

Stolen bike, stolen mobile and pistol have been recovered from the accused. The accused had stolen a bike from near Sarvodaya Colony on January 23. On January 30, the girl's mobile was looted from Chakkar intersection. Four criminal cases are registered against Akash and three against Manthan. Inspector Ramniwas, Mohit, Naresh Kumar were included in the team.
