Bike Riding Youth Dies Due To Uncontrolled Highway Collision, Driver Absconding

Jagran correspondent, Bhagalpur. A motorcycle rider died after being hit by an uncontrolled vehicle on Sunday near Gopalpur in Zeromile police station area. Krishna Jha (27), elder son of Upendra Narayan Jha, resident of Sabour Chhoti Haat, left home at nine in the morning on a bike to go to Rajoun.

On reaching near Gopalpur Railway Bridge at around 9.30 pm, the highway driver coming at high speed from the toll plaza lost his balance and hit the bike from the front. In the massive collision, Krishna Jha along with the bike was thrown 15-20 feet. Due to which he got seriously injured.

On receiving information, Dial 112 police reached the spot and admitted him to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Hospital (JLNMCH) in Mayaganj in critical condition. Where he died during treatment at 11.30.

Died soon after treatment

After pushing, the driver ran away towards Zeromile with the accident vehicle. The father of the deceased has recorded a further statement regarding the incident in Barari Police Camp operated by JLNMCH campus.

According to Upendra Narayan Jha, after the police informed about the incident by dialing 112 from his son Krishna's mobile, they reached the hospital. Krishna died after 45-50 minutes of treatment. He told that Krishna used to run a gym center near Zeromile and Rajoun.

At nine in the morning, he left home alone on a bike for Rajoun. Krishna has a son of five years and two-three months. Here, there is chaos in the house after Krishna's death in a road accident. The condition of wife and mother is bad due to crying. The mother and wife of the deceased were falling unconscious again and again in the hospital premises.
