Satyendra Singh, New Delhi/Chandigarh. The next assembly elections in Haryana are to be held in 2029, but BJP is already preparing for the upcoming elections. Our booth, the party is continuously taking forward the strongest campaign. BLO-1 has been appointed earlier at the assembly constituency level.
Now the party has started appointments of BLO-2 at every booth level. The target of making appointments within the next 15 days has been given to all the district heads by BJP state president Mohanlal Badoli.
District heads held a meeting and instructed the divisional presidents to appoint BLO-2 in their respective areas. The list has been sought within seven days so that it can be sent to the state office. In the last elections in Haryana, 20 thousand 629 polling booths were made.
The party is making continuous efforts to strengthen the organization. On the other hand, the main opposition party Congress is also emphasizing on strengthening the organization in Haryana. In such a situation, the party has started giving the responsibility of BLO at each booth to its hardworking workers.
Their responsibility is also to keep an eye on the voter list process going on by the Election Commission. It is the main job of the BLO that the name of any eligible voter should not be deleted and no ineligible voter should be included in the list.
BLO will be in constant touch with voters
Not only this, the BLOs appointed at the booth level will be in constant touch with the voters coming to the booth, along with connecting them with the organization, they will also work as a bridge between the administration in providing benefits of government schemes. It will also tell which issue the Congress leaders are bringing before the public without any evidence.
At present, Congress is agitating on the issue of vote theft. Already appointed BLO-1 is contacting the voters of his assembly constituency and calling the allegations of vote theft baseless.
BJP state president Mohanlal Badoli said that the organization is strong and it is being strengthened further. Within the next fifteen days, the appointments of BLO-2 will be done at the booth level. He said that the other party remembers the voters during elections, whereas BJP workers remain among the people throughout the year.
